Jamie Patton Awarded 2025 Eberhart Scholarship

Jamie Patton, a senior at The Middle College at GTCC, was awarded the 2025 Eberhart Scholarship. Jamie was a member of The National Honor Society, serving as Secretary, the Student Council, serving as Secretary and 11th grade representative, and a Volunteer of the Year on the Greensboro Youth Council. She received a service learning diploma by contrbuting over 750 volunteer hours while also managing to hold down a job as a cashier at Arby’s. Jamie will be attending UNC-Charlotte in the fall where she intends to major in political science in preparation for continuing her education in public policy and law.

The Eberhart Scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving senior by the Enrichment Fund for Guilford County Schools to honor John (“Pete”) Eberhart, the final school superintendent for the Greensboro City School system.
