American National Bank Classroom Library Grant

Through the generosity of the American National Bank, The Guilford County Enrichment Fund provides grants of up to $100 to first and second grade teachers who would like to create, or add to, a classroom library with a focus on meeting the needs of students reading below grade level.

General Information
Individual grants are limited to a maximum of $100 and teachers are encouraged to use the funds to purchase books for students reading below grade level.

While media centers and school libraries are essential, please do not submit projects that seek to supply these areas.

No group applications will be considered.

Application Deadline
November 15

Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by November 30.

Application Requirements
The application must be completed by the classroom teacher.

An itemized purchase order must be attached.

Verification
All receipts and a brief narrative evaluation must be submitted to the Enrichment Fund by May 1.
